Agate Geode

On the outside, agate geodes appear to be nothing but rock, but looking deeper into the interior of a geode will reveal amazing crystal growth and formations. Agate geode crystals are usually composed of quartz or chalcedonic deposits, but various other minerals such as calcite, celestite and dolomite are also commonly found within other varieties of geodes.

This cute little geode has druzy in it and is really neat if you have loop to look into it.

Nephrite Jade Ring

Jade is one of the oldest and most important gemstones, with a history dating over 7,000 years. It is especially prized throughout Chinese and Latin American cultures, often holding more value than gold.

Green Calcite

A very common and widespread mineral with highly variable forms and colours. Calcite is best recognized by its relatively low Mohs hardness (3) and its high reactivity with even weak acids, such as vinegar, plus its prominent cleavage in most varieties. 

This piece has been treated with a gloss since calcite is quite soft and breaks up quite easily

Gaia Stone / Green Obsidian

Black is the most common color of obsidian. However, it can also be brown, tan, or green. Rarely, obsidian can be blue, red, orange or yellow. The colors are thought to be caused mainly by trace elements or inclusions.

Larkivite Fluorite Carnelian and Black Agate Pendant

Larvikite is a variety of monzonite, notable for the presence of handsome, thumbnail-sized crystals of feldspar.
Fluorite is the mineral form of calcium fluoride, CaF₂. It belongs to the halide minerals.

Rhyolite is a felsic extrusive rock. Due to the high silica content, rhyolite lava is very viscous. It flows slowly, like tooth paste squeezed out of a tube, and tends to pile up and form lava domes.
